VieSID Continuum 2011 – Prof. Dr. S. Sato
The new VieSID courses are open for registration:
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Slavicek
the participants of this course receive comprehensive knowledge about functions
and dysfunctions of the masticatory system.
The 14 days-program is split into 3 modules. It is practice orientated to
provide the students with a broad knowledge which can immediately be
implemented in daily work.
The VieSID Curriculum is offered in English or

· 'Master Class -
Wax-Up' Class II, III, Cross-bite:
Prof. Dr. Rudolf Slavicek, assisted by a
dental technician, will explain the basic rules and guidelines for waxing-up of
class II + III + cross-bite cases, but the main focus of the course will be on
the respective practical exercises.
· 'Orthodontics
in Craniofacial Dysfunctions'
Prof.Dr.
Sadao Sato provides knowledge about the orthodontic
treatment approach considering intra- and interdisciplinary medical aspects.
Functional diagnostics and taking into account the functional status of the masticatory organd and other body
systems and functions are main parts of the successful therapy concept of Prof.
Sato.
Prof. Sato will also teach the
special Multiloop Edgewise Arch Wire (MEAW) technique
in theory and practical exercises.
The course comprises 12 modules in about 2 ½ years.
